I firmly believe the quality of Amiibos is going up and up. The more recent Zelda and Splatoon offerings were a cut above those that came before and the Fire Emblem collection is another step forward.
Celica is a very slight Amiibo, much smaller and thinner than any of the others I own so I was surprised at the level of intricate detailing. The costume is moulded beautifully with the cape finished in a lovely white gloss paint with metallic gold edging, and the shoulders have been really well captured ( it's a bit weird to be reviewing a plastic figures shoulders, isn't it). The hair and face are both great and really in keeping with the art style of the Fire Emblem series. I have no complaints, or any of my usual sarky comments, about the look of this Amiibo.
At the time of writing Celica is still in stock (that's an improvement over the BOTW ones) at the RRP so maybe Nintendo have sorted out their stocking issues. I haven't tried it out in game because that has yet to arrive, I'll update the review if there is anything important to add after I do.
