We all know that Boss has been around for a long time now and that their products are always good quality and some of their products are well sought after over time and increase in value.
Well this Premium amplifier cover by Boss is no exception to their high quality control standards.
I purchased the BOSS BAC-KTN212 Premium Embroidered Katana-100/212 Amp Cover so I could look after my Boss Katana amplifier and I was more than amazed with this product. It arrived very fast with free delivery from Amazon Prime and arrived in an postal bag. Inside was a Bag with a card top with the Boss logo on. Inside the bag was the Premium cover folded neatly inside. As soon as I opened the bag and removed the cover, any folds in the material came straight out.
The fabric is nice and thick and has a good feel to it. From the photos you can see their is a Premium embroiled Boss logo on the front of the cover that really stands out. The cover is an excellent size for the amplifier. I was expecting a really loose fit like you would normally get with an universal after market cover but no this fit is nice and snug and covers my amplifier nicely.
The top has a hole cut in it to allow the user to gain full access to the amplifier handle (great little touch) and the hole has been neatly stitched around the edges. This hole also allows the cover to fit the amplifier more snuggly. As I use my amplifier daily, I was hoping I would not have to unplug my cables from the back of the amplifier while I installed the cover and Boss did not disappoint here either. There is enough room for me to leave my cables plugged in while the amp is not being used, then a few hours later remove the cover and fire up the amplifier.
The Premium cover pulls right down over the bottom corner covers on the amplifier and fits nice and snug around the bottom to complete the job. As we all know Boss products always carry a high price tag because of their high quality, lastability and innovative technologies but this Premium cover is an exception on the price in my opinion, I only paid £17.80 to protect my expensive amplifier, money well spent I should say.
