PRICE:
I got this gaming headset on a sale, which already makes the product even more worth the money. But the regular price tag still makes sense when you know how good the product is.
BUILT:
I usually go directly to the store in order to try headphones, speakers or anything audio related because we never know how good or bad it's gonna be. So I didn't know what to expect before receiving the product but I already had a good impression from the pictures as the headset is well shown.
But now I can confirm this one is well built & solid. It also has sections that are made in metal like the "audio-technica" professional recording studio headphones I own.
The jack/cable seems like it's good quality. Time will tell how long it will last. I only wish it was removable so that if it ever breaks, I could simply look for a replacement for that specific section.
The microphone is removable and its 3.5mm plug doesn't look, neither feels cheap. It simply snaps & stays in there once inside. I was worried this part could potentially be loose & move a lot but it's not the case so I'm glad!

SOUND QUALITY (Headphones)
First thing I noticed was how good the Bass sounded. Personally, I love when the bass is very present but that it doesn't sound "boomy". And that's exactly what theses headphones are, it's just perfect! Also, other frequencies like Mids & Highs are crystal clear. So you can't go wrong with these regarding that aspect.
Especially when compared to my "audio-technica", the sound quality of the HyperX Cloud is definitely surprising. It's satisfying enough & that's exactly what I was hoping for. I'm pretty detail oriented in terms of audio quality, I wouldn't say so if I didn't think they were great.
SOUND QUALITY (Microphone)
The sound quality of the mic is just OK though. It will do the job for casual online gaming. You still could use them for streaming, just make sure you're using the noise suppressor plugin in OBS or something similar because that mic seems to pick up a lot of background noise.
As another reviewer mentioned, the sound will vary a lot depending on what distance, angle & side that you're talking in the mic because it could either ruin your experience or make it enjoyable. It will require a bit of learning & a few tests to perform in order to understand how to use it & make it sound decent.
People who stated the audio isn't incredible are probably talking about the microphone, not the headphones themselves, which isn't specified in their reviews. Hope this clarifies things regarding the sound quality.

FEATURES / CONVENIENCE:
In case the mic doesn't meet your expectations or needs, you can still look for a better quality mic later on as it's completely removable. I found this feature very convenient. Note that not all companies make headsets with removable mics. So that's a great feature you may want to consider.
The mic stick is very flexible & easily movable.
The volume knob is accessible from both sides of the jack which is easier to use.
There's an ON & OFF switch on the jack in case you need to mute the conversation and that your video capture card doesn't have one.
The headset is expendable for smaller & bigger heads. The mechanism of that feature works as intended, even better than more expensive headphones I've seen.

DESIGN / COMFORTABILITY:
Very comfy headphones! I know it also depends on the size of your ears. But in my case, my ears fit perfectly in the Left & Right ear holes so that the ear pads aren't putting pressure on my ears, which is fantastic! And for those who have bigger ears, you'll most likely enjoy these as well because the leather material they used for the ear pads is very cushioned & soft.
When looking for a new headset/headphones. The level of comfortability will make a huge difference in your gaming/listening experience every time you'll be using them. My older headphones, are no longer as comfy as they used to be even if they still sound great. My ears hurt a lot after an hour our two, for the same reasons mentioned above. I mean, ''audio-technica'' is hard to beat in terms of sound quality, especially their budget friendly headphones.
My point is that nowadays, companies are using better material that doesn't fade away or fall apart after a
few years of use (specifically for the ear pads) so that it's much better now. Though, not sure if all companies do, neither how long this one will last but I can't deny it feels good, something to take into account. All I know is that I really like the material they used & design they chose for the HyperX Cloud. The headset looks very nice & clean I must say. It's to be expected from a PlayStation authorized product.

CONCLUSION:
Finally, I would highly recommend that gaming headset to everyone, the "headphones are truly amazing for the price. It's comfy, convenient & well built. Unless you're looking for something that's hyper fancy. When that happens, people will usually look for a lot more expensive headset.
I gave it a 4/5 because it doesn't look like the jack/cable is removable. Also because the mic could have been a bit better quality, compared to every other aspect about the headset that's amazing. The mic should be OK for the majority of people. The fact that it's removable, really opens doors to possibilities of improvement & customizing. So I wouldn't be too worried. Trust me, you really should check that one out!
