My 13 year old son and I go fishing a lot, and he loses lures. We wanted something we could have in the car with us to retrieve lures that get hung up in the reeds. I figured that for the cost we could give this one a try. We got it and inflated it on the living room floor. The pump was ok, it would have done the job, but we have a rechargable electric pump (highly recommended) that filled all three chambers within 5 minutes and deflated it just as quickly. The Boston valve is great, it helps a lot.

Off to the lake we went. The kids had no idea how to row, but with trial and error, they figured it out! Rescued two lures from an earlier fishing trip, and they just had fun. It was stable in the water, and big enough for them both, 16 year old girl and 13 year old boy. We made each ofthem jump out and then climb back in to make sure they could, and it stayed upright and they were able to climb back in from the water. As a parent, I like that it was stable enough for them to be able to safely get back in.

My comments or suggestions are few, buy a portable pump, you won't regret it; this is not a toy, make sure you have a life vests for each person in it; and check the oars every so often, we noticed that they came unscrewed after a while during use!

Overall we're really happy with the purchase!

Dachte immer das so ein Schlauchboot nicht viel mehr als eine bessere Luftmatratze ist, aber es ist ein richtiges kleines Boot, und man kann unheimlich viel Spass damit haben (die Bilder sind vom Atlantik in Frankreich, Becken von Arcachon, beim Hafen von "La Hume". Bin Stand November 2019 jetzt ca. 7 Mal (ca. 5 x am Meer, 1x Fluss, 1 x Bodensee) ohne jegliche Probleme damit gefahren. Das Boot habe ich mit der mitgelieferten Pumpe in ca. 12 Minuten recht entspannt aufgeblasen, die Kammern und die Ventile sind gut ausgeführt, das Material ist stabil, das Boot ist super bequem ( vor allem mit dicker Decke darunter und einer dicken Decke als Rückenstütze absolut genial bequem). Das Boot ist klasse konstruiert, die mitgelieferten Paddel für den Preis voll ok.

Update: bin jetzt noch ca 7 x gefahren, immer noch begeistert. Nur: besorgt euch andere Paddel. Da reichen schon welche für 12-15 Euro , und ihr habt viel mehr Spaß

Worth the money

Was looking at this for a while so when it came down in price a bit, I decided to take the plunge (metaphorically speaking).

Off I went with my son like proper townies down to a nearby reservoir and set sail. We were still afloat after the first minute which I vocally considered a success.
There is a technique to rowing which, after an hour on the water, I had yet to master. I spent more time going round in circles while trying to convince my son that's what's supposed to happen.
Pleased with the sturdiness and robustness of it and impressed with what you get for your money. Nice little touches mean the oars won't drift away if you let go and they also clip on to the side of the boat. Doesn't take long to pump up using the supplied pump (5mins after the first practice).
Good size for myself and my son (10 Yr) . You could fit 2 adults but would be a squeeze.
Alternatives look a bit flimsy and are more for swimming pools but this is good for reservoirs, lochs, lakes and canals. Probably OK in the sea if sticking near the shoreline on a calm day but I reckon you need a certain level of ability to do that which I don't have.

We'll worth it even if you were to only use it occasionally.

Decent two person boat or luxurious one person boat

This IS actually a two person boat. Though it might not be greatly comfortable there is definitely enough room for two people. I have another two person boat that is significantly smaller than this one. But for one person there is an enormous amount of room inside the boat to sit or lie down, as well as plenty of space for a large bag or two. It seems to be a semi-toughened boat, being slightly thicker and tougher than a basic inflatable boat, but not quite as heavy and rigid as a toughened boat, which makes it a bit easier to pack away. It packs down with the oars and pump to about 35 litres if packed efficiently, however it's a very tight fit and I use a 45 litre backpack to carry it for a mile or two to the water, which allows for looser packing and extra items. I was glad of this because after using it in the water and then quickly packing it away in the mud it only just fit into the bag.

Since it is a bit wider and much longer than my other boat I thought there would be a lot more drag and the boat would be slower but I really didn't notice any significant difference. I was already impressed by the boat before I used it, but after seeing how well it performs in the water I was even more impressed. There seems to be a gutter designed to collect any water that gets into the boat, so it doesn't end up right under where you're sitting! There are plenty of available loops all around the boat to tie things to for towing, mooring, stringing up a cover, a sail or any other modifications you want to make. The pump that comes with it works great, and the oars also are good except for the annoying lump in the middle. But of course you can just replace them, however it's not too bad so I'll probably keep using them.

Overall it's a fantastic luxury boat for one person and their luggage that can easily carry a passenger, has a decent cruising speed (2mph or a bit less) and it's not extremely large and heavy so can quite easily be carried around in a bag.

Für meine Langeweile in Kroatien wollte ich anstatt nur vor dem Wohnwagen zu sitzen, mal s ein Boot testen.
Dieses ist mein erstes Boot was ich gekauft habe. Die Lieferung war Ultraschnell und der Preis angemessen als Testboot :-)

Im Urlaub angekommen, packte ich das Paket aus und wunderte mich über die niedliche Pumpe die dabei war, aber nichts desto trotz fing ich an das Boot auf zu blasen mit der Pumpe. Trotz der kleinen Niedlichen Pumpe hatte ich das Boot innerhalb von nur 5 Minuten Fertig.
Also Paddel zusammen gesteckt und ich See gestochen, also ran ans Meer (Salzwasser)
Insgesamt war ich 8 mal draussen (8 verschiedene Tage ist gemeint) und das Boot verhält sich klasse. Paddeln ist eine reine Übungssache, aber nach 2 Tagen geht es dann Richtig gut.
Schon am ersten Tag sagte ich, hätte ich das gewusst, hätte ich mir so ein Teil viel früher gekauft, Klasse Teil.

Kaufempehlung ? Ja !!!

Earphone breaker

Nearly sunk after 10 mins

Product arrived without any safety packaging, just the box for protection. The box was a bit beat up on 1 side, but no more than any other delivery. Arrived just before we left for holiday.
Inflated fine, was a bit small for 2 people so I went out alone. Took about 10 mins before i could see a fold in the main body starting and definately had lost some air!!! Luckily had a life jacket on as barely made it back. Boat started to take on water from the fold created, due to loss of inflation.
Thankfully I wasnt far from the bankside, and had other people in the water for help getting back.

Terrible product, would definately not recommend.
