This is fantastic. The quality of picture and sound is outstandingly crystal clear. It's hard to believe that the original recordings were made in 1968/1969.
As for the stories, once you get past adults conducting neurological experiments on a child, it"s a hoot. Each episode Joe risks his life to save the day with an array of gadgets, gizmos and (beautifully made) futuristic vehicles. Occasionally, Joe does kill a few (bad) people, but everyone's laughing by the end of the episode.
Thoroughly recommended, particularly if you have even the faintest nostalgia of watching some episodes during the 1970's and 1980's.
