Dessa sladdar verkar vara vanliga sata-sladdar som de klätt med mesh och sedan fäst meshen med krympslang vid ändkontakerna. Detta gör dessa sladdar väldigt styva. Efter en dag med dessa i datorn så fungerade plötsligt ingenting. Inga hårddiskar eller blu-ray fanns i datorn enligt datorns bios. När jag öppnade datorn så hade de styva sladdarna satt så mycket tryck på plastkontakten i sata-portarna på mina hårddiskar och blu-ray brännare att plasten i kontakterna hade spruckit och brytits av. Jag kan inte rekommendera dessa alls då man kan få tag i bättre sleevade sladdar från t ex Corsair som inte kostar mycket mer men är mycket flexiblare och högre kvalitet.

Great quality longer SATA cables

It seems quite a challenge to find decent SATA cables that are more than 45 cm (18 inches) in length! For the majority of users 45 cm cables are more than adequate but for a large case, such as a ThermalTake Tower 900, they are not quite long enough to be neatly routed to some areas of the case.

I quickly came across these 60 cm SATA cables from KabelDirekt which are one of the few SATA cables that are more than 45 cm in length. I've used KabelDirekt products before and found them to be good products.

As well as being longer these cables are really well made with black nylon braided cable and shrink wrapped joints between the plugs and cable.

I've used 2 of the 3 cables so far and they work perfectly with Samsung EVO 860 SSD drives. The extra length means I can route them tidily around my case without turning the cables into guitar strings!

My only criticism is that these cables only seem to be available in packs of 3 and if you only need one cable then it's not the most cost effective way to buy them. I've used 2 of mine and the other one has gone in my spares box and may be used for a future project!

Excellent quality cable but has its drawbacks

I like this cable, it looks smart, nice braiding (although I won't see it as it is hidden) and solid connectors with a generous amount of heatsink at the ends. You will need to think about the right angle of one of the ends, the quality of the heatsink gives very little movement so if, like me, you want the angled end to fix to the mother board, which is right my an entry/exit to run the cable (case is a Fractal Design R6), then it causes a problem, it fitted but with stress pushing the sata connector on the motherboard out, I wasn't comfortable with this so fortunately I was able to switch the cable around (doesn't look as neat with the straight end sticking out of the motherboard but only me will see it) with the angled end fitted to the SSD instead but please keep this in mind when ordering. Unless the sata connectors overlap the access holes to run your cables I would think about the non angles type.

High quality cables for the price.

These SATA cables are very high quality for their small price. These would compete and most likely win over any big brand competitors.

They were very easy to install. If you ever have any problems installing. Your motherboard should come with a manual, you could also look for a manual online.

The cables seem to be performing very well and after a few weeks I’ve not noticed any problems, as of yet.

Worth a buy if you’re looking to upgrade your cables, in your pc.

Excellent quality, great looking Sata III cables. Purchased for a new PC build. They matched the black fabric covered cables of the modular EVGA PSU used and were in keeping with the black cabling theme of my PC build. Transfer speeds are fast and 3 months later I can report no faults with the cables. I also found these cables more flexible than the purely plastic coated sata cables I have, which aided cable management in my PC, being easier to work with. Will happily purchase again if required.

Not sure what it is about these, but they're far more rigid than any other SATA cable I've used. I feel like I'm putting too much pressure on the port, so had to use more cable ties than normal to prevent bending the port
