Another case for the aristocratic amateur sleuth. Holidaying in Scotland, Lord Peter (Ian Carmichael) is looking forward to some well-earned rest, and maybe a spot of trout fishing too. But then, when he discovers the body of a local artist at the bottom of a cliff, he must leap into crimebusting action and work out whether the fellow's fall was an accident or the result of foul play. The artist was an unpopular chap and many people around these parts would have been happy to do him harm; but it's up to Lord Peter to find the one who actually dunnit.
