Jag köpte klockan för jag ville ha en plain klocka utan logo, men på klockan jag fick står det "XINEW" i stora bokstäver på displayen.

I rubriken står det vattentät, men denna klockan är absolut inte vattentät.

Well…..it’s a watch.

It’s slim, light and cheap for a reason. I removed a plastic clip around the dial to get it going. The date window was set and the time adjusted easily. I can’t say much about how rugged it is but I can tell you it’s not a tactical watch. I can hear it ticking from the other side of the room…with the TV on. It’s the noisiest watch I have ever heard. It’s more like an old clock on the mantelpiece.
You won’t cry if you lose it, then again, if you lost it the sound of ticking would help you find it again.

Cheap - tells the time, looks good

What's not to like? At only £6 how can you fault it? It tells the time accurately, it is just the right weight, and the design is a classic look swiss military. Adjusting the hands does show how flimsy inside it is - but that happens once a month so no worries for me. The strap is ok quality. If I need a new battery or smash this I'll just buy a new watch.

So I prefer this to my other swiss style watch which is £20 and a bit too heavy for my taste. Both tell the time accurately.

Update: after 6 weeks it stopped. I reset the time, and then it worked again for a wekk or so. Now it has stopped again. So it has only one job, and it can't be relied upon for that. So I am returning it.

A FRESH STRAP DOES WONDERS FOR THIS WATCH,

The strap is rubbish. I purchased the watch intending to replace the strap with a black Velcro fastening one, which I did. It was so easy - a quick twist and a tug and off the old one came! Using 22mm quick release pins, the replacement strap was fitted in seconds.
I must commend the design and manufacture of the watch itself. The first position of the adjuster button was easier to locate than on any of my 35+ other watches. The design of the window giving not one unreadable number, but the date below and above the current date, takes account of aged, failing eyesight, and the fact that every hour the minute hand obscures the actual date, but it can be deduced from the before or after date showing in the big window. We should not forget also that the hour hand spends a very long time obscuring the date window at about 3o’clock. A design plus! If the strap was much better, I think there would be far more 5 stars.

Misleading advert stating waterproof it is definitely not.

This product is not waterproof. The advert states it is ideal for everyday where and work and is waterproof. It is not. I wore it in the rain and the face steamed up after only 2 hours wear. On checking the full description it says its not waterproof but why would the main advert description be different unless its a con!

Fault with the steel back of the watch

I bought this watch about six months ago, to use as a spare watch. It has only been worn about half a dozen times, and now the back of the watch has fallen off - that's the stainless steel back. I've tried putting it back on, but it just falls off again - it doesn't snap into place as you'd expect. This is a cheap watch and unfortunately it behaves like one too. (Apart from the back issue, the strap is very scratchy and uncomfortable, and the watch is slightly slow as regards time, losing a minute or so every few weeks.)
I would definitely not recommend buying this watch.
