My daughter was looking for an A2 portfolio to make lugging all her art and 3d-design stuff to and from school easier. She was particularly keen on finding one with a shoulder strap.

Good
Seems well made - not on a par with the heavy ones you get in art shops at twice the price, but OK for school
Handle and the strap are both strong
The material covering seems fine and the stitching is good.
The reflective stripe is a really good idea and not too big so that 'young people' complain
30% cheaper than HobbyCraft!

Could be better
Zip is a little stiff (could just be because it is new)
You have to open the zip all the way to open it
The rings attached to the portfolio for the strap seem a little flimsy, Time will tell.
It is not waterproof through the zips. The top and sides are fine though.

We have had the flexible plastic ones before, and this is much better made and I think it will last longer.

It's a good portfolio, the zip is a little stiff when its fully open but a little fidgeting and it closes. You've got to pinch the material above the zip and then move the zip around a bit and it will close fully.

I've got another portfolio same make as this which I've had for 5 years and it's still going strong, had no issues.

I bought one and the zip stuck. Its replacement was fine. I bought another, at a later date, and the zip stuck on that one too, so I asked for a refund. The portfolio has to be unzipped completely to open it. The problem arises when you close it and try to re-engage the zip. Even if you squeeze the portfolio around the zip it will not engage. It's a real pity because the construction of the actual portfolio is strong and it looks good, much better than other portfolios sold by Amazon at a similar price.

Good spacious folder but, when you carry it everything falls out the inner pocket. Takes loads of space to open it in art class.Nicely waterproof and easy to carry .mTop opening would improve this folder. Great fast delivery and superb packaging.
