This is my own personal opinion and I have not been paid for this feedback in terms of a money back for a positive review.

My daughter has the official Apple Pencil and I only need the pencil to write, not draw so felt the Official pencil would not be value for money. So after a lot of research I settled on this alternative.

Arrived in a nice presentation box with spare nibs. Paired to my iPad very easily and does everything I want it to do. Works exactly the same as the official Apple Pencil, except for pressure sensitivity. I’m using it to take notes and mark student work.

Pencil charges in the same way as the Apple Pencil 2nd gen. You do have to manually turn it on and off. It does have a 5 minute cut off in case you forget.

It doesn’t have the double tab feature the official pencil has, but this doesn’t not bother me. If you’ve never used the official pencil you won’t know any difference.

It writes fine and my daughter has used it, as agrees that there is not real difference between the 2 pencils.

Battery life is very good and charges quickly. I read a review of somebody stating that it drains the battery of your iPad whilst charging. What did they expect, the pencil to charge from thin air and not use any of the iPads battery!!! I have no noticed any serious battery drain.

Considering this is £100+ less than the official pencil you cannot have any complaints. Try it you won’t be disappointed!!!

I don’t make reviews on products straight away but after using this pen for a week I can draw some conclusions,
Pros
-complete minimal design, only a ring light at the end which glows when in use/charging
-no lag when drawing, using on my iPad Air 4th gen
-strong magnets that attach to the side of iPad really well
-identical nibs to the original Apple Pencil (spare nibs can be used for the original)
Cons
-charging can be slow
-small loss of iPad battery when pencil is charging (5%)

I hardly give a review. However, I am so impressed with this pen so thought I would give one. I’m fussy. Like things just so. This pen is really good for the price. It switches on easily. Charges on the iPad. Syncs to the iPad with ease. Writes really well. Can’t say how the drawing is sorry. I have not tried that. I wanted it for note taking. It’s worth the cost if you need to write notes.

I lost my Apple Pencil 2 and decided to give this a try! It’s so close to the Apple one in so many ways, it’s brilliant. Two things to note: no pressure sensitivity so not great for artist/designers. It does the other things so it writes very well. Also, you need to press and hold a button to turn it on (annoying at first but you get used to it).

This pen works well and sits in exactly the same place the Apple pen which I lost sat, I'm very pleased. One annoying point, why do I need to hold the top button down for 4 seconds before it's live? Why not just press it and it's immediately live. It's a small thing but it becomes annoying.
