Had this umbrella for just over two months now, and the positives are it's very small and compact, and it's great that it just fits into my side jacket pocket, so that made it very convenient to carry around.
It had been working really well, but last week in strong rain & winds, the spring loaded clip on the main umbrella shaft which keeps the top section of the shaft in place fell out and was lost. Also one of the metal pins holding one of the umbrella arms broke off, but I was able to repair the arm with garden wire. Even so the umbrella is still usable in light rain, but not when raining heavily.
I have other Fulton umbrella's and this is the first where something has broken off. Not sure if I would buy this particular Fulton model umbrella again.
I bought this umbrella because of the make - Fulton umbrellas seem to last longer. The "stem" is quite short - so it's not the tallest umbrella, therefore it's a little less comfortable than other fold up umbrellas I have had. I don't think it would last in strong winds. But so far it does the job. Keeps the rain at bay, fits in my bag. It's fine - not great, but if you want a fold up umbrella and you don't have to contend with heavy wind too often, it's probably fine.
