UPDATED - Poor battery life compared to other brands

After writing my original review I was promptly contacted by Iniu customer services out if the blue.

I was offered an alternative product (INIU Power Bank, 22.5W Fast Charging 20000mAh Powerbank) as a replacement.

I'm my opinion, THAT is fantastic customer service! There was no "if you change your review we will give you..." it was simply "sorry your product didn't work as intended here's a replacement"

I have updated my star rating based on my positive customer experience. I still can't recommend this original product based on the one I received but I do highly recommend the replacement I was offered.

INIU Power Bank, 22.5W Fast Charging 20000mAh Powerbank

The replacement is a beast, it can charge multiple ipads and iphones and still have left over charge. It is double the capacity and size of the original i was sent so it can be a little unwieldy if in the pocket but I am happy as I use it at home rather than carrying it around.

All in all I am extremely happy with the alternative product and fantastic customer service. Thanks Iniu.

I can't recommend this product, the battery cannot charge nearly as many things as a another brand I have of the same battery capacity rating.

With the energy prices hiking into the stratosphere, i decided to buy some power bricks to charge while i was at work then bring them home to charge all our devices. The key to this plan was to get a cheap one in the lightning deals to help make sure it didn't take 50 years to make a saving with this method. I already had one power brick that i payed a regular amount for and its great so the plan was to double up.

I found this particular power brick in the deals, it was the same capacity 10000mah as the one i had but at a nicely reduced price. Fantastic, I hit that buy button.

It came nicely packed and even had a little protective bag for storage, all seemed good so far. Then i plugged it in and thats where things went wrong.

Now for comparison the original power brick i had before this one takes approximately 4 to 5 hours with an ipad charger to be fully charged. This one did it in about 1.5 to 2 hours, hmm suspicious.

My original power brick could charge an ipad and a kindle from flat and still have a bit left over to top my phone up. This one couldn't manage to charge the kindle fully before it gave out, the best it got to was 85%

So, i had to keep it because like a silly person i binned all the packaging before testing, i still use it for topping phones and things up but its no where near up to being able to charge fully flat ipads and other similar devices.

Would I recommend it? No, i may have got a faulty one but based on my purchase experience i would suggest for you to pay for one of the more well known brands like Anker.

I bought two of these and used one for a year and another for 6 months or so. They worked well for those durations but had just stopped charging after that. One was stuck at 77% and does not charge the phone and the newer one at 30%.
I had an excellent response from Customer Service who sent me replacements for the products. I commend them for their service and provision of extended warranty.

Update to my initial review:
I was contacted by the vendor and offered a full free-of-charge new battery pack. They said that they had earlier responded to my email, though I didn't receive it (probably went to the bulk email folder). The interaction with the service representative (Yoli) was very good and they were quite flexible in the replacement offer (I chose another product as a replacement since I'd already purchased another battery pack). So in the end a good service experience, even though the product did stop working suddenly.

Original Review:
The battery pack worked fine till it did not. After a few weeks it's not charging anymore. When I connect it to a charger, all the numbers and words on the screen start flashing (both ‘In’ and ‘Out’ and the numbers along with the ‘%’) along with the flashlight. And if the charger is not connected then it doesn’t switch on at all. I tried all various steps like trying to reboot, etc (as suggested on various sites) but to no avail.
I've written to the vendor at 'support@igetihu.com' but no response so far (it's been 5 weeks).
So would not recommend buying this.

It is a heavy item but a really good one. When you take it out it really needs to be in a very good protective case. Once charged it stays charged, it takes a good few hours to do but worth it and gives peace of mind knowing you have this in your bag if your phone runs out of power. A great product.

Ich habe es auf Empfehlung eines anderen Rezensenten bestellt und bin zufrieden mit der Ladekapazität. Die Powerbank ist nicht leicht, aber wirkt qualitativ hochwertig. Das mitgelieferte Schutzetui (der Hersteller nennt es Reisetasche) finde ich praktisch.

Tiene bien aspecto y carga bien pero no tiene carga rápida no para de cargado ni para cargar el móvil así que habrá que tener paciencia. Hay otros en Amazon similares con carga rápida por el mismo precio. La carga rápida se agradece sobre todo a la hora de cargar el cacharro, para no estar 6 o 7 horas que tardará este.

Twice charged my iPhone 12

Happy with this so far - testing it once it was fully charged up, I found it used 50% of its charge to charge my iPhone 12 from scratch to 100%. So I'll only get 2 full charges from it for my phone. Quite fast - I used the USB c port with a cable from that to my lightning port on the iPhone. I suspect my iPad Air will take more than 50% though so I have bought another power bank.
